Your Life
Canterbury is a place for everyone. Whether you are a committed Christian or someone just exploring Christianity there is a place for you. A key step in becoming a member is baptism. Canterbury Christadelphians practice baptism by full immersion of those who profess a faith in Jesus Christ. This follows the practice of baptism as recorded in the New Testament. Baptism is a public sign of an individual’s commitment of giving their life to Jesus. [Mark 16:16]
Belonging to the Christadelphians is easy, however following Jesus can be challenging. Helping each other to discover faith and grow in that faith is what we are about.
Sunday Service
The highlight of our week is the Memorial Meeting. Each Sunday morning we meet to remember our Saviour Jesus Christ. Not only is it our privilege to do this, it is a Biblical instruction we diligently observe as we await the return of Jesus to the earth to establish his Kingdom.
Bible Workshops & Presentations
Our Bible Workshops and Presentations are designed for those searching for an introduction to the key messages within the Bible. Core topics include Living a Christian Life, Salvation, Israel, Jesus' message and God's Kingdom on Earth.
We hold these activities on a Sunday afternoon or in the evening.
Bible Explorers (Sunday School)
Canterbury Bible Explorers aims to provide a safe, fun, family environment for children to explore the bible and the lessons for life it contains. Bible Explorers is for kinder and school aged children and is held each Sunday during school terms commencing at 9:15am and concluding at 10:30am. The format combines music, singing and aged based learning groups. All teachers are volunteers from within our members and have working with children checks in accordance with our Child Protection Policy.
